I think we should avoid the claim that we will integrate with mysjsu system (just for now).  Also, we can avoid claiming fraudulent checkin because that won't be the core of the project. Besides, the QR code can be forwarded from one person to another and we can't really prevent this "fraud".  But again, this is not the scope of our project.  Do not use "we", "us", "I" etc.  I also think we need to provide more specific detail of how it would work.  Here is my revision (feel free to critique and modify):
